Coffee Almond Tortone
|Heavy cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Granulated sugar/Berry sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Instant coffee||1 Tablespoon|
|Flaked toasted almonds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Coconut||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Almond extract||2 Drop (Few Drops Required)|
1) Beat the cream and add in 1/4 cup sugar, coffee and flavoring to this.
2) Whip egg whites till soft peak stage and slowly add and beat in 2 Tablespoons sugar till stiff.
3) Combine together almonds and coconut and add this nut mixture and egg whites into whipped cream.
4) The preparation can be kept deep freezed for a month or more and may be used as required.
