Berry Almond Dessert
|Unflavored gelatin||2 Tablespoon (2 Envelopes)|
|Cold water||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Sweetened condensed milk||14 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Almond flavored liqueur/1 tablespoon almond extract||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Strawberries||1 Quart, sliced|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Sprinkle gelatin on 3/4 cup cold water in 2-quart saucepan to soften; heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until gelatin is dissolved.
Stir in milk, 2 cups water and the liqueur.
Pour into 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
Refrigerate until firm, at least 4 hours but no longer than 24 hours.
Mix strawberries and sugar; cover and refrigerate no longer than 24 hours.
Cut dessert into 1-inch squares; divide among 8 dessert dishes.
Top with strawberries.
