Tahini with Yogurt and Almonds
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Tahini||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs) (Sesame Paste)|
|Plain yogurt||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||6 Tablespoon|
|Ground cumin||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground almonds||1 Ounce (3 Tablespoon)|
|Almond halves||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (For Garnish)|
Mix the garlic and tahini paste together.
Stir in the yogurt, then gradually add the lemon juice until the mixture is creamy, beating well.
Add the cumin and seasoning.
Stir in the ground almonds.
Place in a serving bowl.
Serve with spiced pita bread.
