Almond Fluff With Strawberries

Ingredients
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Toasted chopped almonds 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Unflavored gelatin 1 Tablespoon (1 Envelope)
  Cold water 3 Tablespoon
  Eggs 3
  Almond extract 1 Teaspoon
  Whipping cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Strawberries 1 Pint
  Sugar 2 Tablespoon (To Sprinkle On Top)
Directions

Heat 1/2 cup sugar in heavy skillet until melted and golden.
Stir in toasted almonds and turn out on buttered cookie sheet immediately, pulling with the tines of two forks to spread as thinly as possible.
Cool.
Crush to crumbs with a rolling pin.
