Almond Christmas Wreath

Ingredients
  Risen rich milk dough 1⁄2 (1/2 Quantity)
  Almond paste 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Confectioners sugar 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Orange juice 1 Tablespoon
  Shredded almonds 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), toasted
Directions

Divide the dough into 2 pieces.
Roll out each piece toa long rectangle about 12 inches by 5 inches.
Dividethe almond paste in half and roll each piece into a rectangle a little smaller than the dough.
Place 1 piece on top of each rectangle of dough.
Roll the dough up across the width making 12-inch rolls and seal the edges of the dough.
Twist the 2 pieces of dough together, form into a circle and seal the ends together.
Place on a greased baking sheet.
Cover and let rise.
Brush with egg wash and bake in the center of a moderately hot oven (375°F) for 30-35 minutes.
Transfer to a cake rack and cool.
Mix the confectioners' sugar with the orange juice to form a pouring frosting.
Spoon all over the bread and sprinkle with the toasted shredded almonds while the frosting is still wet.
Leave to set.
