Almond Butter Crunch Pop Corn

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Light corn syrup 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Popped popcorn 2 1⁄2 Quart
  Almonds 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Toasted)
Directions

Melt butter in medium saucepan.
Stir in sugar, corn syrup and salt.
Heat to a boil, stirring constantly.
Boil for 8 minutes, stirring only once, over lowest heat possible to maintain a boil.
Remove from heat; stir in soda, vanilla and butter extract.
Gradually pour over combined popped pop corn and nuts, mixing well.
Turn into large, shallow baking pan.
Bake at 250°F for 30 minutes, mixing well after 15 minutes.
Allow to cool completely.
