|Light rum||1 1⁄2 Ounce|
|Lime juice||1 Tablespoon|
|Ice cubes/5 to 6 small, 1 x 1-inch cubes||4|
1) In a blender jar, add one ice cube at a time and blend for 5 seconds at the Crush Ice speed.
2) Scrape down ice from the sides, then add lime juice, rum, sugar and maraschino cordial, if desired into the jar.
3) Place the lid, blend and add ice cubes through the lid. Then blend for another 1 minute, until smooth and thick.
4) Pour into a chilled glass, garnish with maraschino cherry, if desired and serve immediately.
Stir down the mixture 6-7 times while blending so that ice is evenly blended.
