|Semisweet chocolate chips||6 Ounce|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Corn syrup||3 Tablespoon|
|Brandy||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Crushed vanilla wafers||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Chopped walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|White sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Melt chocolate in top of double boiler over hot (not boiling) water.
Remove from heat.
Stir in 1/2 cup sugar, corn syrup and brandy.
Blend in wafer crumbs and nuts.
Chill until firm enough to form into balls.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Roll in fine sugar.
Let ripen in covered container 2Ã¢â‚¬â€3 days.
Makes about 4 1/2 dozen.
