Ruby Red Grapefruit And Tequila Sorbet

Ingredients
For simple syrup
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
For tequila sorbet :
  Grapefruit juice 5 Cup (80 tbs), freshly squeezed (From Texas Ruby Reds Or Any Pink Grapefruit)
  Tequila 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Grand marnier liqueur 2 Tablespoon
  Lime wedges 4 (For Garnish)
  Mint sprigs 1 (For Garnish)
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Simple syrup: In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar together.
2) Stir continuously over a medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
3) Allow the syrup to cool, then refrigerate until chilled.

MAKING
4) In a large bowl, combine the chilled simple syrup, grape juice, Tequila and Grand Marnier together, until well blended.
5) Place the bowl in the refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.
6) Freeze the mixture in an ice cream maker as per the directions until set.

SERVING
7) Garnish the Ruby Red Grapefruit and Tequila Sorbet with a few lime wedges and mint sprigs and serve with butter cookies.
