Ingredients
  Butter 4 Ounce
  Demerara sugar 4 Ounce
  Golden syrup 4 Ounce
  Plain flour 4 Ounce
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Ground ginger 1 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1 Teaspoon
  Vanilla essence 3 Drop
  Powdered sugar 1 Tablespoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1) Heat the oven at 325°F or Mark 3.

MAKING
2) In a pan, add butter, sugar and syrup and gently heat till the butter melts and the sugar dissolves. Cool slightly.
3) Into a bowl, sift flour with salt and ginger and stir well, with lemon juice and vanilla essence.
4) On a well greased baking sheet, scoop up teaspoons of mixture and arrange 4 inches apart.
5) Place in oven for 8 minutes.
6) Allow biscuits to cook for 2-3 minutes, then remove with a sharp knife.
7) sprinkle powdered sugar when hot
8) When cold, store in an airtight container.

SERVING
9) Serve as desired.
