Brandy Pretzels

Ingredients
  Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Confectioners sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg yolk 1
  Salt 1 Pinch
  Vanilla extract 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 2 3⁄4 Cup (44 tbs)
  Brandy 4 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1. Cream the butter with tweo thirds cup of sugar until fluffy
2. Add egg yolk, salt and vanilla; sift flour and mix it all well; chill for a couple of hours
3. Break into pieces and roll into worm-like structures 6" long and 0.25" in thickness
4. Twist into a pretzel and place on a baking sheet; bake for ten minutes at 325° F; cool on the baking sheet
5. Mix together brandy and rest of the sugar and brush on the pretzels; leave to set until glaze becomes shiny

SERVING
6. Serve as appropriate
