Apple Cider Stew

Ingredients
  Turnip 1⁄2 Small, diced
  Green beans 1⁄2 Pound, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), divided
  Onion 1 Cup (16 tbs), sliced
  Cubed beef 2 Pound, cut into 1 inch pieces
  Apple cider 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Catsup 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Bay leaf 1
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Thyme 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

TO HEAT BY AUTO SENSOR: In 4-quart casserole, combine, turnip, beans, 1/4 cup water, onion, beef, cider, catsup, salt, bay leaf, pepper and thyme; mix well.
Cover with glass lid.
Heat on COOK A5.
After time appears in display window, stir occasionally.
Time: about 1 1/2 hours.
TO HEAT BY TIME: In medium glass bowl, combine turnips, beans and 1/4 cup water.
Heat at high8 to 9 minutes; stir once.
Drain; reserve vegetables.
In 4-quart casserole, combine onion, beef, cider, catsup, salt, bay leaf, pepper and thyme.
Cover with glass lid.
Heat at high5 to 6 minutes and at LOW 60 minutes.
Stir occasionally.
Add reserved vegetables and heat, covered, at LOW 15 minutes or until tender.
