Braised Ham In Apple Cider
|Whole ham||15 Pound (Uncooked, 1 Ham)|
|Apple cider||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Ginger ale||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Savory seasonings bake blend||1 Teaspoon|
Preheat oven to 325°.
Place ham, fat side up, in large roasting pan.
Add cider, ginger ale, sugar and Bake Blend.
Braise 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until internal temperature reaches 160° on meat thermometer, basting each hour.
To serve, slice thinly.
Pan juices may be thickened and served as gravy.
