Brandy Peach Sauce
|Sugar||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Sliced almonds||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), toasted|
|Peach brandy/Brandy||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Vanilla ice cream||1|
Peel peaches; slice, removing pits.
In wok combine sugar, water, lemon juice, and nutmeg.
Bring to boiling.
Add peach slices; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer about 10 minutes or till tender, stirring occasionally.
Stir in almonds and peach brandy.
Serve warm over ice cream
