Chai Spiced Apple Cider

We’ve been seeing apple CHAI-der all around the north… We saw it first in Michigan and now in Buffalo. Chai-der is basically apple cider with chai spices. As you may be able to imagine, it is 100% awesome. Take a look…
Ingredients
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Cardamom 1 Tablespoon
  Cinnamon powder/1/2 cup cinnamon bark 1 Tablespoon (Kevâ’S Brand)
  Cloves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Black peppercorns 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Vanilla powder 1 Pinch
  Apples 2 Large, juiced
Directions

For the Chai Tea:
Bring all to a boil then let simmer for 30 min, the longer the better!

For the Cider:
Juice 2 big apples and add to the Chai tea blend.

(If you don’t have a juicer, like we don’t have one in the RV… blend 2 big apples with the 2 cups of chai tea, then strain through a nut milk bag!)

Serve with cinnamon sprinkled on top.
The easiest way of all is to just juice the apples, then boil the juice with the spices. But we wanted to preserve as many of the nutrients in the apple as possible!
