Brandy Butter Hard Sauce

Ingredients
  Butter 3 Ounce
  Icing sugar/4 1/2 ounce icing sugar and 1 ounce ground almonds 6 Ounce
  Brandy 1 Teaspoon
  Egg white 1 , whipped
Directions

Cream the butter till soft.
Sift the icing sugar and cream it with the butter till white and light in texture.
Mix in the almonds if used.
Work the brandy carefully into the mixture.
Fold the stiffly-whipped egg white into the sauce.
