Hot Spiced Cider
|Unsweetened apple cider||7 1⁄2 Cup (120 tbs)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped dried apple||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Golden raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|3 inch cinnamon stick||2|
|Whole nutmeg||2 , halved|
Combine first 4 ingredients in a large saucepan; stir well.
Tie allspice, cinnamon sticks, and nutmeg in a cheesecloth bag; add spice bag to cider mixture.
Let stand at room temperature at least 1 hour.
Bring mixture to a simmer; remove and discard spice bag.
Spoon chopped apple and raisins evenly into serving mugs.
Pour cider mixture evenly over fruit.
