Fava Beans (Egyptian Foul)
|Fava beans||12 Ounce|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Light olive oil||4 Tablespoon|
|Garlic powder||To Taste|
|Chopped parsley||2 Tablespoon (For Garnish)|
|Sliced onions||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Place the fava beans with liquid in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat.
Reduce the flame to low and heat through.
Season the beans with lemon juice, olive oil, garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer to a serving platter.
Garnish with the parsley.
Serve with sliced onions and pita bread.
