African Spiced Vegetable Salad

Ingredients
  Broccoli florets 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Cauliflower florets 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Carrot 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sliced
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Red pepper 3⁄4 Teaspoon, crushed
  Ground ginger 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground cumin 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground coriander 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Ground nutmeg 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Fat free sour cream 3 Tablespoon
  Cider vinegar 2 Teaspoon
  Honey 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Green onions 2 Tablespoon, sliced
Directions

MAKING
1. Steam the cauliflower, carrots and broccoli for a couple of minutes, covered; rinse under cold water when done and drain away all the water
2. In a small skillet, combine the red pepper, ginger, cumin, coriander, nutmeg and salt and cook over medium flame for a couple of minutes till you can smell the fragrance
3. To the spice mixture, add sour cream, vinegar and honey and turn it all into a medium bowl
4. Stir it all well and add broccoli mixture and green onions; toss well to coast evenly

SERVING
5. Serve as appropriate
