Dabo Kolo Crunchy Appetizer Bites
|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Berbere||2 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Water||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix flour, Berbere, sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons salt in bowl.
Add oil and enough water to form stiff dough.
Knead on unfloured surface for 5 minutes or until smooth.
Let rest, covered, for 30 minutes.
Pinch off a small portion of dough at a time, keeping remaining dough covered.
Roll each portion into a rope 1/4 inch in diameter; cut into 1/2-inch pieces.
Place on baking sheet; sprinkle with salt to taste.
Bake for 16 to 20 minutes or until crunchy, stirring several times.
Cool and store in airtight container.
