Strawberry Aliens - Healthy Snacks for Kids

Strawberry Aliens are a super fun snack to make with kids and are a great addition to Boathouse Farms UnBake Sale.

Ingredients

Whipped light cream cheese 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Strawberry preserves 2 Tablespoon
Large strawberries 1 Quart (about 24)
Mini chocolate chips 48
Blueberries 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Blackberries 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Pineapples 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , cut into small shapes

Directions

GETTING READY

Slice off the bottom of strawberries and make a small notch on top. Set aside.

 

MAKING

In a small bowl, stir together the cream cheese and preserves.

Spoon the mixture into a plastic sandwich bag and snip off one corner.

Fill the notch of the strawberries with the cream cheese mixture.

Press, 2 mini chocolate chips into the cream cheese to create eyes as shown in the video.

Press, 2 toothpicks into the top of the strawberries and with the remaining berries and pineapples to create antenna.

 

SERVING

Serve to your kids.
